Valley Forge Hangs on During 58-49 Win

PHOENIXVILLE, PA
- Valley Forge Christian College did something they haven't done in fourteen years Thursday night: beat PBU.

The Patriots secured their first win over the Crimson Eagles in 18 outings, turning a five point halftime edge into a 59-48 triumph over the visitors. The win helps Valley Forge remain unbeaten in East Region play for the year while PBU's mark in the conference slips to 2-1.

The Crimson Eagles received 23 points and 12 rebounds from senior guard Dani Norton in the loss. PBU falls to 3-17 on the season following Thursday's slip-up.

The basketball team will get back into action on Saturday when the group goes up against Marywood University on the road at 1:00 pm.
